I think that the word "Killable" isn't fittable for sawrunner because he's always returning to chase Simon. That character is stunnable but not killable and that's why i want to ask you to edit the page on your free time. I decided to stun him after he broke the door that leads to sewer tunnels. It took me 5 minutes to do so with a Nightstick. That action reveals that he wears a light green jacket and half-boots and that's why his clothes aren't same as simon's clothes.
The article only mentions that he can theoretically be killed with the special weapons, I'm not 100% sure which passage you're referring to so I reduced the protection on the article so you can make the edit yourself if you so wish.
So like I said I'm really sorry for the whole spam here on your page. But I only want fairness. In the article about Simon Henriksson, in the Trivia section, it is often said multiple times that the logo on the back of Simon's Hoodie, his bag etc. that it implies Simon listens to heavy metal music. I just don't understand why I'm not allowed the edit the site because I just want to write on the Trivia section that Simon is a horror movie fan because he has a poster about a horror movie on his wall in his room. If you don't want to debate/discuss this theme here on your profile then we could chat in the live chat or whatever. This thing with the horror movie thing is really the only thing I want to write. Please don't ignore me, Thanks and Greetings Bromudo
I just want to know why I can't edit anymore any pages. Firstable the text on the article about Simon himself "I've always felt alone..." is wrong copied. There are some missing words like: I'm'just' used to it, I'do'know this...
And it just not fair to say that it is wrong that he likes horror movies. I could come up with the same argument you used: You don't think that people buy posters about movies or whatever if they don't like it. It is just not fair to remove everything I wrote. That is not what an Admin has to do.
Like I already said, I acknowledged the point that there was no proof that Simon played games, which was why I revised the article and removed it but for whatever reason you refused to let it go, when the point is already conceded, continually editing all the articles you can is just unnecessary and annoying. So if you want to edit content, just abide my simple request to behave sensibly and stop spamming the articles with that line. If you want the information about him being a horror fan included, the gaming information will have to be there as well as both posters equally merit explaining. So the choice is yours, I can allow the inclusion of both viewpoints or I will have both left out. If you're prepared to stop edit warring with me and accept the inclusion of the gaming poster information I'll allow what you want to be added as well, I simply want the wiki to be consistent and if it's to be consistent either all conjecture based information will have to be included, or it all needs to be ignored.
I haven't disabled your ability to edit articles, I've just protected the article about Simon as is until this can be resolved.
"In the opening nightmare sequence of the game a Half-Life 2 poster and a horror movie poster can be seen on the wall. In the final stage of the game the Half-Life 2 poster is gone with the horror movie poster in its place, the poster on the door is now gone entirely. These could imply that Simon has an interest in video games and/or is a horror movie buff, or they could be there simply as nods to products the developers enjoyed. Regardless, other than this Simon's room is relatively sparse".
This should allow the inclusion of the information you want without the other stuff in the room being overlooked. If you find this agreeable I'll add it and unlock the article, otherwise I'm going to have to keep it the way it is.
Alright, I'm really sorry for being annoying the last days and I agree with you that it was really unnecessary to repeat the same lines over and over and the other stuff. The text you wrote about the posters is good, but I think we can then just completely let it out and don't even write it inside. Thanks for the answer.
Hey KatSchidt, no offense but please stop editing (if you were editing) the site about Simon's House with the poster thing. Simon is really not a gamer, he is just a horror movie fan shown by the real poster on the wall about a horror movie, which was replaced only in the nightmare sequence by the Half Life 2 poster. It was just a joke from the developers. Greetings Bromudo
Ok, I'll take a look over some of the previously locked articles and see what improvements I can consider making over the next few days. I love the game, and this is a great wiki, I look forward to serving it well :)
Thank you so much for the recent edits, and apologies for my recent absences. Had I known sooner of your good work I would have had Grindor promote you to admin sooner, but nevertheless, if you'd like to be an admin just say the word! We certainly need more users with your dedication helping to give the wiki the content it deserves, and thank you for all the work. I'll be online more frequently in the upcoming weeks, so feel free to PM me if you need any big things or locked things changed.
I'm a massive fan of the game and I simply enjoy adding a bit of information for fellow fans. I've not been around long so I figured it a bit presumptuous to ask, but I'd be happy to fulfil that role if you're prepared to offer it, it would be good to give some more of the wiki's content a bit of an overhaul when I've got the time :)
